Trap? Or not trap? Either way, very good looking.
Pokin’ my head back in before I return to studying.
It’s Study Week a.k.a Bury My Head in Books Week for me and I’m trying my best not to turn out worst for the wear when my exams descend upon me next week. Until they’re over, I’m probably going to be well, non-existent.
I’m currently writing a term paper about the relationship/effects/I-haven’t-really-decided-so-I’m-more-or-less-screwed between Starbucks and Japan (what I Engrishly called STARBUCKxJAPAN in my Livejournal) which will be posted up here after I submit it to my professor because well, this is a blog about Japanese pop culture after all amongst other things (cough, I seem to have forgotten that it was supposed to be an otaku portal).
Other things that I’m kept busy with? Reading through a 30cm thick pile (I’m underestimating here) of readings, and trying to re-organize my Japanese notes into a nice ring binder. The latter’s an attempt to revise for my exam, and revise my keigo, causative and imperative forms. Try squeezing 6 levels worth of Japanese into your head. Ouch. I’m most probably attempting JLPT 2 this year, so I need to be as organized as possible. Anyone else attempting the demon level of JLPTs (not counting level 1)?
I’ve restarted my weekly Japanese lessons after being on the waiting list for 3 months, and I’m relieved that I’m under my favourite teacher Mizusaki-sensei. She’s awesome, and on crack most of the time but it keeps me on my toes.
As for Tachikomatic Day editorials, I have 4 major posts in the works: one about otaku girls (not just limited to fujoshi, because that’s not the only kind you get, I kid you not); another introducing a really awesome composer/singer, Japanese of course; one DS-centric post, because the animeblogger world is full of PSP fanboys; and last but not least, an editorialish rant on otaku/anime-fans and money.
Plus, I have a introduction to Kabuki post coming up. I recently went to catch 2 kabuki screenings and they were mind-blowing. And DS game reviews (mainly otome games, because I should pander to my kind); anime reviews - like duh; and FIGURE REVIEWS. Holy shit, I have a pile up of figures that I need to take photographs of.
I’m also looking for a reliable webhost for a major revamp after my exams (monetization, magazinization, more-contentization) so if any of you guys can recommend one (or what to avoid), leave a comment! I’ll be sure to say that “XXXX” introduced me so that you might get what, referral fees?

Don’t go dreamhost. That’s the only advice I can offer.
@double: LOL. Okay! Thanks for the info~
Something’s quirky with your RSS feed. My plugin can’t seem to parse the feed….
@0ne: Ah! O: That’s strange… I’ll try to resolve it ASAP!
