Tachikomatic Days : In Your Basement is part of the upcoming Kaiten Soshi network.

Otherwise known as In Your Basement (IyB), the blog is a new and hopefully improved revamp of the old Tachikomatic Days. IyB now focuses largely on all things geeky - from eclectic music tastes, funky art & design, exhilarating games, to all things quirky and fun. Of course, this includes IyB’s original focus: all things (anime & manga) otaku.

What IyB now does, is expanding the meaning of being an otaku. Are you passionate about gaming? Do you geek out over gadgetry? Do witty designs make you giggle inside? If yes, IyB hopes to satisfy your needs in one place!

IyB’s writing style will hopefully be a welcome change over the touch and go, fluffy writing that plagued the old Tachikomatic Days due to time constraints and the (inner) pressure to update frequently. Although IyB will not update as often as before (due to the horror called school, and other editorial commitments), we hope to update the site at least every other day, with weekly updates as the backbone of the site.

To bring you quality writing, IyB’s goal is to give a sort of mini to full blown editorial style with every post. Of course we’re hoping not to bore all of you look out for asnappy, (snarky?) witty and alternative voice! IyB is actually Soshi’s experiment at running a magazine-style blog :x
